Snips, Sips & Sunshine: How to Prep for the Prettiest U-Pick!

If you’re like me, juggling work, softball schedules, and figuring out how to keep your kids off screens (while secretly hoping the laundry folds itself), a little time in the dahlia patch might be just what you need this summer.

Our U-Pick sessions are simple and stress-free—here’s how to make the most of them:

1. Pack the Basics

Bring sunscreen, bug spray, your favorite cold coffee, and maybe that teen who “doesn’t want to go” but might end up loving it. We’ve got scissors and vases, but feel free to bring your own. If you’re allergic to bees, don’t forget your EpiPen!

2. Snip What You Love

Pick as many flowers as your heart wants. Stroll, clip, and take pictures! It’s meant to be peaceful—no rush, no rules.

3. Soak It In

Snap a few photos, laugh with your kids or your friends, and let the flowers (and sunshine) do their thing. It’s a sweet little break from everything else.

Simple, unplugged, and full of beauty. Hope to see you in the fields soon.
